1854 Society Goes Camping!

On a warm and sunny afternoon in early June, families of 1854 Society members, including children and grandchildren in strollers, gathered at YMCA Camp Thunderbird to share a true camp experience.

 

The Hartoughs Are Consummate Volunteers

Simple stories can carry a powerful impact. When Jane Hartough talks about Jim’s involvement in the YMCA, she says matter-of-factly, “When we lived in Greenwich, Connecticut, our local YMCA did not have a Y Indian Princess program, so Jim drove to nearby Darien where he and Heather spent time together with other fathers and daughters."
